Burnham residents donate hundreds of gifts to Albania
of needy children in Albania have received shoeboxes full of Christmas
gifts thanks to the generosity of people in the Burnham-On-Sea
Baptist Church, together with St Andrew's School and Berrow School,
collected over 200 boxes.
were added to those collected in Baptist churches across the area,
making a total of 1,600 shoeboxes.
Steve Ayers and his daughter Becky were part of a team that flew
to Albania over the past week to distribute the gifts in and around
the capital, Tirana.
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was great to give out the boxes
and be able to assure all the people who donated boxes that their
boxes had arrived and were given out."

will be able to spot the box that they gave being received by
