Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council is hoping to find its first Business and Administration apprentice.

The council wants to give a young person an opportunity to learn office skills and at the same time achieve recognised qualifications that will assist them in their future career.

“This is a busy office and if the candidate has the enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of the team it will be a great opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience. There is a wide variety of activities carried out by the Town Council which makes each working day different, often busy but never dull,” said Town Clerk Denise.

If you are interested in this position more details can be found on www.learnsomerset.co.uk. Applications are being dealt with by Somerset Skills and Learning, under the apprenticeship scheme. Do not contact the Town Council as we are unable to assist in the process.

The Town Clerk, Denise Emery, and Deputy Clerk Lorna Williams are working with Somerset Skills & Learning, who will be the training provider.
