Crews called to car crash in Highbridge's Asda supermarket car park

Emergency services were called to the car park at Highbridge's Asda store on Saturday afternoon (April 25th) after an accident.

A Peugeot collided with several recycling bins and other vehicles at the front of the store, as pictured here.

Police sealed off the area around the vehicle and a fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was called to make the vehicle safe. A police spokesman said there had been no serious injuries.

A fire spokesman added: "One appliance from Burnham assisted with scene safety following a collision in a car park in Highbridge."

"The vehicle had collided with several vehicles and a wall."

"Police and Ambulance were in attendance assessing the driver of the vehicle."
