Police in CCTV appeal after alcohol stolen at Highbridge's Asda store

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying these three men after a large quantity of alcohol was stolen from a Highbridge supermarket.

Officers say the trio may be able to help them with their enquiries into the shoplifting incident, which took place on Thursday 23rd April at about 1.45pm at the Asda store in Caxton Road.

"They selected various bottles of spirits totalling almost £300 and then left, making no attempt to pay," said a police spokesman.

"They then returned to the store in order to steal further items, but aroused suspicion, so left the store empty handed."

"The CCTV images show three men who we believe might have some information which can help our enquiries."

The first man is described as a young slim built man, with short dark hair, and wearing a light coloured t-shirt, with a print on the front. He was wearing dark trousers and trainers.

The second man is of an average build, with dark hair and facial stubble. He was wearing a long-sleeved check shirt.

The third man is wearing glasses, a cap, and dark zip-up hoody, dark trainers and is carrying a dark rucksack.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number EM 156.
