Burnham-On-Sea bank’s customers raise hundreds for town charity

-

The staff at The Co-Operative Bank in Burnham-On-Sea have been busy raising funds for local charity ‘In Charley’s Memory’ this month.

The bank’s Christmas raffle has raised £600, with a further £400 to be donated by the firm in January.

Branch Manager Ellis Clapp said: “The staff would to thank all their customers for their support and wish them a very Happy Christmas. A special thank you to The Lighthouse Inn who kindly donated two carvery tickets.”

Charley Marks, 18, took his own life on September 10th, 2014 and a charity created in his name, In Charley’s Memory, is supporting young people and those affected by mental health.
