Women's Institute group Burnham Belles is formed in town
new Women's Institute group called The Burnham Belles has been
formed in Burnham-On-Sea.
The brand new group aims to attract all ages of women with an
interesting programme of speakers through the year.
40 women came along to the first meeting earlier this month, pictured,
when a new committee was formed and the group's name was agreed.
next meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd February at 7.30pm. The
group has decided to hold its regular meetings at The Avenue Tennis
Club in The Grove, Burnham.
meeting will involve some administration, including taking the
annual subscriptions for the group of £36, which covers
the venue costs and speakers," said the group's President

to take part in. Being a new group the committee are interested
to know what interests people have and generate the speakers,
