Appeal for witnesses after vandals spray paint parked car in Highbridge

A furious Highbridge disabled couple have hit out at 'mindless vandals' who targeted their car during the early hours of Saturday morning (November 28th).

Tony Harvey and his wife are both disabled and rely heavily on their BMW to get them around, so they were shocked to find it had been spray painted by vandals outside their home in South Avenue, Highbridge.

"It really is disgusting that some mindless person has done this - it will cost us a lot of money to get it removed, which we just cannot afford," Tony told

"It's just so pointless and we can't understand why anyone would do it."

"We are keen that a warning is issued to other residents in the area to let everyone know that this sort of thing is happening and to keep an eye out."

"It's mindless, immature and very upsetting, particularly as our vehicles are so important for us."

Anyone with information about the incident can call Burnham Police on 101. the incident occuered overnight between 10.15pm on Friday night and 6.30am on Saturday morning.
