Burnham-On-Sea Police have this week said they have identified a man in CCTV coverage who may have information about a disturbance at a town hotel earlier this year.

Earlier this month, we reported here that police had appealed for the public’s help following the incident at the Royal Clarence Hotel on Burnham’s Esplanade on Sunday 31st May.

There was a disturbance in the bar area of the hotel involving up to eight men.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Key told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Wednesday (July 29th): “We believe that we have identified the man featured in the appeal regarding a disturbance at the Royal Clarence Hotel.”

“Inquiries are continuing. Officers would like to thank the public and the media for their support.”
