A busy road through Berrow was partially closed on Sunday afternoon (21st June) after a two vehicle collision.
Two cars collided in Coast Road, close to the junction with Hurn Lane, at around 2.15pm.
Police partially closed the busy route for over an hour while recovery of the vehicles took place. A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com there had been no serious injuries.
Saftey has been in the spotlight along the busy route for many years after a series of accidents.
Last February, two people were injured when a bus ended up on its side in the ditch in Coast Road, as we reported here.
There was a two-car crash in 2012, reported here, a bike collision in 2008 here, and a 2010 accident here where the bus stop was demolished by a car.
