Cooker fire causes call-out for Burnham-On-Sea fire crew

-

A pan left on a cooker caused a call-out for fire crews in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday afternoon (June 13th).

One fire appliance was initially called to a home in Highbridge Road at 3.15pm after reports of an alarm sounding at the property.

“Crews confirmed there was a smoked-logged building and requested an additional appliance to be sent from Burnham. Crews confirmed there was smoke from a pan left on the cooker,” said a spokesman.

Crews ventilated the property before leaving the scene with no further damage to the property.
