A second man has been arrested following a police pursuit through Highbridge on Tuesday (January 6th) which ended with this car slamming into a garage.
The driver of the Ford Mondeo was arrested soon after the incident, which took place in John Street near Tyler Way, but another person fled from the scene.
Police spokesman Scott McPherson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A second man, who is from the Burnham area, was arrested by police.”
The crash occurred at 1.39pm on Tuesday when a silver Ford Mondeo crashed into a garage, sending bricks flying, as pictured above.
Police believed the car was being driven suspiciously and had attempted to be halted. Police confirmed the Mondeo had been being followed by a police car.
