Burnham fundraiser’s cream teas raise £500 for local hospice

Dozens of cream teas were served up to raise funds for a local hospice during a special event in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 8th).

The annual event was held at White Lodge in Rectory Road, where the large garden was decked out with gazebos and marquees to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.

Julie Draper, Fundraiser for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice in Bridgwater & West Somerset, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Around 60 people attended and raised £500 for St Margaret’s Hospice. A huge thank you goes to Liz Claydon for welcoming us into her beautiful garden, to my merry band of volunteers, and to Liz’s family and friends for their help also.”
