falling down the cliffs at Brean Down on Monday evening (October

the alarm when his pet tumbled 20ft down the rocks at Brean Down
from Burnham-On-Sea and Weston were called to the scene, along
with specialist fire rescue teams from Burnham and Bridgwater,
just after 5.30pm.

fortunate to have landed on a cliff ledge. The dog owner had him
on a retractable lead but did not want to pull him up in case
his collar slipped or broke."
