A drone enthusiast has captured these stunning ‘bird’s eye view’ photos of Burnham-On-Sea’s famous beach lighthouse this week.

Clive Long took the shots from high above the landmark using a remote-controlled drone.

Clive says he is still getting used to operating his new toy, but has been impressed with the footage filmed so far on Burnham beach.

“The drone is great for taking really interesting pictures and video from a different vantage point,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Remote-controlled aircraft are increasingly being used to capture video and still images of public landmarks. Burnham’s lighthouse is one of the world’s top ten most beautiful lighthouses, as we reported last year.
