Police have appealed for witnesses after a fatal accident near Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday (March 10th).

Emergency services were called to the A38 Dunball roundabout where a car collided with a tree.

Police spokesman Craig Evry told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are investigating a fatal collision which happened at just after 2pm.”

“A car collided with a tree at the junction between the A38 and A39. As a result, the driver sadly died at the scene.”

Police have asked anyone whosaw the collision who has not yet spoken to the police to contact their Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
