Burnham-On-Sea fire engine was forced to turn around while responding
to a call-out on Thursday (February 12th) due to the continuing
road closure in Berrow Road.
were called out to an incident in Brean at 12.40pm and, as they
had been assured that emergency access would be provided during
Wessex Water's current sewer repairs, they drove along Berow Road
but were turned back.

work early to mininise disruption over the school half-term holidays,
which start today (Friday).
