platform in place on Burnham jetty ahead of Sunday's show
scaffolding platform has been built on Burnham-On-Sea's jetty
to enable thousands of fireworks to be launched during a spectacular
display on Sunday evening (November 8th).
event will start at 6.30pm, and the platform is in place to allow
the fireworks to be launched soon after high tide.
20-minute fireworks display will be accompanied by a line-up of
hit music from the past few decades.
Alan Christie from Skyburst Illuninations told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"It's going to be a special display this year - we have several
new fireworks not seen in Burnham before, including carpet shells
that will be fired horizontally over the sea."

which will add to the overall effect. It will be a cracker of

jukebox history from the 1940s onwards - with memorable rock,
swing and dance tracks including classics from Grease, the Blues
Brothers, the Beatles, and many more."
event, overseen by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council, will be
free of charge thanks to local sponsorship, however spectators
will be encouraged to give donations to the charity collectors
along the seafront.
