-

Colouful flower baskets have returned to Burnham-On-Sea’s town centre this week for the first time in two years.

The new hanging basket columns that were installed as part of the council’s town centre improvements, have been filled by members of Burnham In Bloom and Hillview Carnival Club.

Organiser Dave Perrett, pictured, who is Chairman of Burnham In Bloom, said: “We have 12 new columns up in the High Street and Victoria Street, allowing 24 baskets to be displayed.”

“They look great and help to bring an extra bit of colour to the town centre over the summer months.”
