Six hours of free live music will be held in Burnham-On-Sea today (Saturday, June 20th) to raise funds for the town’s folk festival.

The Folkfest Family Fun Day will be held at the BAY Centre Playing Fields just off Burnham Road from 12.30pm – 6.30pm.

“It promises to be a great afternoon with lots of local music acts including Emily Elswood, Tim Fardon, Driftwood, Daft Folk and Chiller,” said organiser Tanya Dyer.

“There will also be many stalls set-up selling local crafts and refreshments plus entertainment including a Kidzone, skittles, bar, bouncy castle, boxing demonstration and amateur radio club.”

There will be free entry and free onsite parking. Entrance for vehicles will be via the Worston Lane opposite Woodfield Close.
