motorists warned of delays as new roadworks start
are being warned to expect more disruption in Burnham-On-Sea over
the next month as major roadworks get underway.
Frank Foley Parkway and Love Lane will be partially closed when
gas mains replacement works gets underway by Western Gas Alliance.
one will see a south-bound closure of the Frank Foley Way for
one week from 23rd February to March 1st.
two will see the Frank Foley Way shut north-bound and Love Lane
closed west-bound from 2nd March for four weeks.
will be in place throughout the roadworks via Pepperall Road,
but town councillors have already expressed concern that this
will lead to extra traffic through residential areas of Burnham.
work to build a new pedestrian crossing will also get underway
on Monday 23rd February in Berrow Road when traffic lights will
be in place.
