Burnham care home’s staff celebrate qualification achievements

Staff at Frith House care home in Burnham-On-Sea have been celebrating achieving a top qualfication.

Eight care staff have achieved their level 2 QCF in Health & Social care – and they received their qualifications from the town’s Deputy Mayor Mike Mansfield.

Frith House’s Vicki Mitchell said: “The presentation was very special as this was the first group of care staff to do a workgroup QCF level 2 qualification in healthcare.”

“The idea of trainers ( Acacia Training and Development) was to support staff through the qualification. It was a great day of achievement for the staff!”

The eight include Beverley Hicks, Larilyne Bautista, Tina Sinclair, Sue Guy Gibbens, Stella Ashton, Maria Irving, Hayley Doyle and Viviene Heal.
