Burnham-On-Sea school pupil to star on ITV's 'I'm A Celebrity'
has announced that former Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge school
pupil George Shelley will be one of the competitors on this year's
"I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here".
22 year-old - who rose to fame on the The X Factor in hit boyband
Union J - is a former pupil of Burnham's St Andrew's Junior School
and also studied his GCSEs at King Alfred School in Highbridge.
still has family in Somerset plus many friends in the Burnham
area and says he's looking forward to appearing on the show.
am really excited about being on the show and it actually feels
really surreal! I cant quite believe I am going to be on
it. Im looking forward to the challenge - I love doing new
things and meeting new people," he says.
been in a situation like this before with The X Factor. You are
there for support and I do genuinely like people. I
feel like I am going to glue to people and make a lot of new friends
in the jungle."
added: "Its going to be so different to life with Union
J. Its a great change from singing but its definitely
going to be way more scary than performing on stage."

Whereas with Im A Celebrity, you are going in at the deep
end and you dont know if you will sink or swim."
admits he's scared of moths and he's going to miss his bed and
home comforts the most.
