Knoll singer Gracie Wickens-Sweet impressed the celebrity judges
and got four yeses when she performed on ITV's Britains
Got Talent on Saturday night.
11-year-old stole the show with a powerful performance of 'Somewhere
Over The Rainbow' and went through to the next round of the hit
Cowell said she's "really cute, really likeable" while
Amanda Holden described her performance as "just fantastic!"
mum, Anne Sweet, told Burnham-On-Sea.com after seeing the show:
"We are absolutely delighted that she got four yeses - it
was a very exciting moment for Gracie and a very proud moment
performance went really well - it couldn't have gone better and
we're now really looking forward to the next round. We have our
fingers crossed that she gets through to the semi-finals!"
new MP James Heappey Tweeted his praise for her too, saying: "Top
job Gracie... four big yes-es and that was just from the Heappey
mum added: "We are so proud of Gracie and what she's done
so far. It's wonderful that she's on Britain's Got Talent. She
has a lot of local support and is well known in Somerset for her
singing. This opportunity is giving her huge national publicity
for the first time!"
won Burnham-On-Sea's 'BOS Factor' talent show last November when
she wowed the audience by singing the same song.
