Highbridge hair students nominated for national achievement awards

-

Three local students from a Highbridge hair studio have been nominated for top awards in a national competition.

The trio have been trained at L&F Training Academy in Church Street, Highbridge and have been nominated for national Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards.

They include Charlotte Sinclair, a local Burnham-On-Sea lady who is an apprentice working at Cut Above in Bridgwater; Amy Anderson from Highbridge, who is an apprentice working at Francesco Hair Salon in Highbridge; and Louis Fox, an apprentice from Bridgwater who is working at Power Cuts in Bridgwater.

Fran Deeley, Business Manager at L&F, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “They have done so well to be nominiated, having shown great commitment throughout their training.”

“They have achieved so much already and we have our fingers crossed for them at the awards in late November.”

She added: “These awards celebrate the personal and career achievements made by those that have completed an apprenticeship qualification and recognise the roles played by those that have made this a possibility.”

The three have been nominated at completion of their Level 2 accreditation.

They will enjoy a trip to London for the awards on November 24th – their day will start at the Crystal building in London’s Victoria Dock, and will include lunch on a cruise of the Thames and culminate with an awards reception at the Tower of London.
