Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser set to run marathon for Cancer Research

-

A Burnham-On-Sea resident will be pulling on his running shoes to take part in the inaugural Bristol & Bath Marathon this Sunday (25th October) for charity.

James Warren hopes to raise a good sum for Cancer Research – a cause that is close to his heart.

James, 43, has had a number of close friends effected by different forms of Cancer over the past year.

He said: “It’s vital for those battling cancer and the families it effects that people continue to support charities to ultimately find a cure.”

As well as the marathon, James, in association with Gary Coe at The Dunstan House has organised a fun Halloween Quiz on Wednesday 28th October at the pub from 9pm with a charity raffle.

Donation can be made via Justgiving here. If any businesses or individuals would like to donate a raffle prize, they can contact James through The Dunstan House or drop them into the management team at the pub.
