runners complete London Marathon to raise charity cash
Burnham-On-Sea pensioner was among the local runners who completed
the London Marathon on Sunday, raising thousands of pounds of
Nicholls, 69, ran her fifth London Marathon in a time of three
hours and 44 minutes, raising £2,000 for Cancer Research

a keen member of Burnham Harriers running club, has raised over
£12,000 for Cancer Research UK over the years. Stuart, her
son, who was also running for the same charity, finished in four
hours and 28 minutes.
local runners included George Scott, 22, pictured right, from
Watchfield near Highbridge, who was also running his first London
Marathon for the Stroke Association in memory of a family friend.
