have been searching the scene of a crash near Burnham-On-Sea for
evidence after a man was arrested on Thursday morning (February
26th) in connection with the death of a woman.
were called to Southwick Road in the village of Mark, near Burnham-On-Sea,
at 9.15am on Thursday where a car crashed into a ditch.
say the vehicle had been seen leaving a property in Glastonbury
where a lady had died after an assault just before 8.30am.
Inspector Lorna Dallimore told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was
reported that a woman had been assaulted and was in a life-threatening
condition. Sadly the woman died at the scene."
were subsequently called to a single vehicle collision in Mark
