Burnham-On-Sea Parkinsons Support Group has received a cheque for £250 from Bridgwater Classic and Vintage Club.
The presentation was held in the social area at Burnham-On-Sea Roman Catholic Church this week.
Terry Orchard, the BCVC secretary, said: “The Bridgwater Classic and Vintage Club hold their annual two-day show at Bridgwater’s Morganian Rugby Club each August. Proceeds from this event are donated to local charities annually.”
“Mr Mike House, kindly allows the club to store its equipment at his farm in West Huntspill. In consultation with Mr House it was decided to make a donation to the Burnham Parkinsons Support Group.”
“We hope to be able to assist local charities from the proceeds of the next BCVC
annual show, which will be held at the Morganian Rugby Club on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2015.”
