A group of fundraisers from Burnham-On-Sea has raised more than £3,000 for charity in memory of a town resident.

A cheque has been handed over to St Margaret’s Hospice following a charity sky dive in memory of the late Paul Plume, who organised Burnham’s lighthouse trail last summer.

Paul Plume passed away last December after being looked after by the staff at St Margaret’s.

To thank them, the fundraisers also held a day of cycling in the Bridgwater branch of Santander, where Paul’s son works, and the firm kindly matched the money raised that day.

The team who completed their 15,000ft sky dive were Susan Insch, Scott Woodberry, Claire Tayler, Sally Plume, Alex Plume, Lewis Plume, Kirsty Brown and Sophie Darwish.
