Hardy spectators who braved wet weather at Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Picnic in the Park on Sunday (July 12th) were treated to a super afternoon of live music.

The 19th annual event went ahead despite rain showers and featured Six Machine, Daft Folk, Rootabaga, Maya, Hazel Lloyd and Odds To End.

Dozens of spectators enjoyed the free event, which included refreshments, a bar, raffle and bouncy castle.

Mike Murphy from organisers CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society) said the event had been a success. “We thank everyone who came out today to support the event despite the wet weather – a lot of great local music was still enjoyed,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
