Highbridge hosts two-day model railway exhibition this weekend

A model railway show is set to make a return to Highbridge this weekend whne scores of rail-themed attractions will go on display.

Sedgemoor Rail 2015, an annual pre-Christmas Show, is presented by Burnham & District Model Railway Club at King Alfred School (B Block) in Burnham Road, Highbridge.

The show will be held on Saturday 14th November from 11am until 4pm, and on Sunday 15th November from 10am-3pm.

“There will be a range of layouts on display supported by trade stands including the club’s own limited edition wagons,” said exhibition manager Dave Bowers.

“There is ample free car parking on site with convenient disabled parking and the building is wheelchair-friendly.”

Admission for adults and seniors will be £4, while accompanied children up to 15 are free. The show is sponsored by Ray Heard Model Railways.
