lifeboat volunteer praised at regional awards ceremony
lifeboats press officer Mike Lang has been presented with an inscribed
statuette at a regional awards ceremony.
medals, bronze silver and gold, plus certificates of thanks, were
presented by RNLI CEO Paul Boissier to the charity's helpers at
the Lighthouse Arts centre at Poole in Dorset.
citation was read out by Tom Mansell, the RNLI's Divisional Operations
Manager for South West England.
said: "Since the Burnham-On-Sea Lifeboat station was adopted
by the RNLI, Michael has carried out the role of lifeboat press
officer with great skill and enthusiasm."

Burnham in both the local and national news media."
