teenager raises £500 by donating his hair to cancer charity
Burnham-On-Sea teenager has raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer
charity by donating locks of his hair.
Burland, 15, hadn't had a hair cut for 15 months in order to help
a charity called The Little Princess Trust, which provides real-hair
wigs free of charge to children across the UK who have lost their
own hair through cancer treatment.
Sunday (15th February), Ross had his locks trimmed at Burnham's
Beaux Cheveux salon in Abingdon Street, supported by family and
the hair cut, Ross has also raised £500 of sponsorship funds
and all the proceeds will go towards the cost of having the wigs
made for the charity.
