shop window competition gets underway in Burnham
shop window competition is underway in Burnham-On-Sea this week
to coincide with the half-term holidays and town's Food Festival.
Harvest Spot The Odd Item Trail tests the observational skills
of visitors to the town centre, where over a dozen items have
been hidden in shop windows and online.
Chamber of Trade and Burnham Food & Drink Festival have joined
forces to organise the event in the run up to the festival on
Saturday October 31st.
competition runs from October 22nd-Sunday November 1st and entry
forms are available from Sea Breeze art gallery in Victoria Street
and GW Hurleys in the High Street.
cash prize is up for grabs for the winner who finds the most items
and, if necessary, completes a tie-breaker question.
month's Food Festival, running from 9am-4pm in five indoor venues
and the town centre will see more than 90 local traders showcasing
the best of seasonal, local produce.
