Highbridge shopfront grant scheme aims to smarten up town
Highbridge is to get an £8,000 funding injection to improve
its town centre shopfronts.

give £4,000 towards the scheme, matching a similiar amount
from Sedgemoor District Council.
Murphy of Highbridge Chamber of Trade and Phil Adams from Sedgemoor
District Council's Economic Development Team unveiled the scheme
to town councillors at their Policy and Finance Committee meeting.

of the town centre.
Murphy explained: "We want a smart, unified street scene
in Highbridge - we'll never be a Cherbourg - but we are trying
to improve our image, jointly working with the town council and
