A Burnham-On-Sea opticians will be marking its tenth anniversary with ten days of activity starting on Thursday 1st October.

Specsavers in Burnham High Street has been welcoming customers through its doors since 2005 and wanted to mark the occasion and say thank you for the support.

The team will be raising money for UNICEF by holding various activities over coming days.

“Ten years is a significant milestone so we thought it was only right to recognise it,” said store director Rama Venkat. “Three of the team, including me, have been here since the beginning so have seen the store change and develop over the years. A lot of our customers have also been with us since the start which is a testament to the emphasis we place on customer service.”

“A member of our team, Thrinayani Ramakrishnan, is a Youth Advisor for UNICEF so we thought it would be a good idea to support them, while no birthday party would be complete without a cake which customers will be able to enjoy.”

Customers will be able to take advantage of a £10 discount when they spend £100 in store on the day. Staff will also be handing out free hi-visibility vests to children to help make sure they are seen now that the nights are drawing in.

For more information or to book an appointment, visit the store at 3 High Street, Burnham-On-Sea or call 01278 765460.
