to celebrate St George's Day with dragon trail
youngsters will be seeking dragons around the town centre on Thursday
(April 23rd) as part of a St George's Day celebration.
event will start with the flag of St George being flown on the
town's flagpole at the southern end of the High Street next to
hunt for 20 baby dragons hidden in shop windows throughout the
town centre will then begin.
children from local nurseries will be hunting for the dragons
and once all the clues have been found the children can then head
to Burnham's Princess Theatre to collect their certificates and
join a St George's Day party.
entertainment at The Princess will provided by Action Pussy Cat,
while out on the trail Mike the Knight will be on hand to help
the young participants.
will also be storytelling, dragon making, dragon toys, floor art
and craft activities.
Centre Manager Bev Milner Simonds told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The
Town Council has lined up a great day of celebration in the town
centre involving lots of our businesses."
