Day of celebrations planned for St George's Day in Burnham-On-Sea

Aimed at pre-schoolers, there will be a trail around the town trying to spot the baby dragons in shops and businesses with Mike the Knight on hand to help them on their way!

There will also be a pre-event colouring competition for nursery and care centres to work on with a dragon dressing-up outfit as the prize.

Afterwards there will be lunch with craft activities, story telling and entertainment at Burnham's Princess Theatre.

Beverley Milner Simonds, Town Centre Manager, said: "We want to provide a fun, free day our for local families and carers. The theme of St George's Day gives us lots of scope for fun with dragons and knights."

"The feedback from the town centre businesses has been really positive and we hope lots of pre-schoolers come into town and enjoy the trail and party."
