The driver of this car was lucky to escape without serious injuries after losing control along a country road in Burnham-On-Sea this week.

Emergency services were called to Stoddens Lane where the Honda was found upturned in a roadside ditch.

Police and fire crews from Burnham were called to the scene at around 10.30pm on Thursday (November 26th).

They found the male occupant had managed to scramble out of the vehicle on his own accord.

The car – which is believed to have been travelling towards the rail bridge when it lost control – was made safe before police taped it off, awaiting recovery.
