-

A new traditional tea rooms has opened in Burnham-On-Sea this week in time for the summer holiday season.

Daintea Tea Room has launched at 13 Cross Street, serving up freshly baked pastries and teas.

Owner Craig Peters told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are providing something very different for Burnham – freshly-made cakes, scones and traditional cream teas.”

“It’s a place where you don’t feel pressurised to have hot food – it’s a place where you can come and sit and relax and enjoy yourself.”

“Visitors can escape from the hustle and bustle of town and have a relaxing quiet tea.”

The tea rooms are open from 8.30am-5pm, offering a breakfast menu every morning and a full lunch menu.
