Office issues warning for thunderstorms in Burnham tonight
Met Office has issued a yellow warning in the Burnham-On-Sea area
today (Friday) due to the risk of thunderstorms.
forecasters say there is a chance of heavy and possibly severe
thunderstorms developing from late afternoon and through the evening.

Some torrential downpours are possible, leading to localised surface
water flooding, with large hail and frequent lightning also possible
