the Jack Russell reunited with his owner after a week missing
lost Jack Russell Cross has returned to his owner in Berrow after
going missing for a week.
a tri-coloured dog went missing on June 11th at Berrow Nature
Reserve and was not seen until Thursday afternoon.
owner, Rob Nelder, pictured, thinks he may have got stuck
down a rabbit hole or been stolen and then released.
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are so relieved and very, very
pleased to have Truce back - it's great news!"
added: "I had a phone call at about 4pm from a lady saying
she'd just seen Truce in the nature reserve - he'd shot past her."
I rushed down to that area and called out his name but there was
still no sign of him, even though several golfers also said they'd
also seen him shoot by."
some time looking for him I went home and to my surprise found
him waiting for me! He'd been away for just over a week so it's
fantastic to have him home."
thanked all those local people who have been looking for him since
a Burnham-On-Sea.com news story earlier this week, here.
added that local dog owners should be aware that dog theft is
on the increase, and alsong with the need to microchip your dog,
he says it's important to ask if vets locally can check dogs microchips.
