Three arrested after tyres are slashed across Burnham and Highbridge

Three people have been arrested after tyres were slashed by vandals in Burnham-On-Sea during the early hours of Saturday (October 10th).

Vehicles parked along Willis Court, just off Marine Drive, were attacked with a knife, leaving their tyres deflated, as pictured here.

And several other vehicles were also attacked on Highbridge's Morland Estate, leaving some residents unable to drive to work.

Resident Dan Cook, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I came out this morning to find my tyres had been done, and many of my neighbours. It's so pointless and annoying - why do people do this?"

Another resident, Jordy Gilroy, added: "I was woken up by the sound of all my car tyres being slashed on the drive."

Burnham-On-Sea Police are investigating the incident and have arrested three people.

Residents affected are being asked to contact them via the non-emergency number 101.
