Watchfield Flower and Vegetable Show set to be held this Saturday

The 29th Watchfield Annual Flower & Vegetable Show will be taking place on Saturday (5th September) at Watchfield Village Hall.

Entries forms are available from Mark Village Stores, Rich’s Cider Shop and libraries in Burnham and Highbridge.

Classes include Fruit and Vegetables, Flowers, Floral Arrangement, Photography, Cookery and Handicraft. Children’s classes include Cookery, Handicraft and Photography.

Both adults and children can enter Novelty Classes with ‘Who Has Grown the Longest Runner Bean’, a very popular class!

“The show is a popular event for local residents of all ages and is a great opportunity to meet your neighbours,” said a spokesman.

“There will be a Raffle and Cream Teas will be available throughout the afternoon. At the end of the Show on Saturday prize money and trophies will be awarded, the Raffle drawn and any Exhibits left will be auctioned.”
