Proposals to convert a seafront pub in Burnham-On-Sea into a block of flats have been unveiled this week.

The owner of the Waterfront pub on The Esplanade has submitted plans to change the use of the building.

The applicant, Colin Spence, is seeking Full Planning Permission to convert the premises – formerly Chaplins Bar – into three first-floor bedsits, four two-bedroom flats and four one-bedroom flats.

The property at 8 The Esplanade currently consists of a public house with four bedsits.

Comments are being welcomed by Sedgemoor District Council until February 20th. The application number is 11/15/00005.
