Youth group plans fundraising celebration in Burnham on Saturday

Somerset Time For Youth will be celebrating its first anniversary with a fundraising celebration in Burnham-On-Sea this weekend.

Somerset Time For Youth is a charity that supports and provides activities for youngsters with learning difficulties.

The celebration will be held on Saturday (11th April) at The Baptist Church in College Street, Burnham from 12pm until 3pm.

"There will be musical entertainment while visitors have a look round the tombola, cake stall and raffle. There will also be a chance to have some delicious refreshments including a ploughmans lunch," said a spokesman.

"Since starting, the charity has built up and now has new premises at the Balliol Hall in West Huntspill with over 20 members. Please come along and help us celebrate this big anniversary."

Highbridge singer Gypsy Watkins will be performing during the event and Burnham's Mayor Martin Cox will also be making a special visit.
