Motorist hurt in A38 van crash near Highbridge Caravans entrance

A driver was injured after a vehicle crashed off the A38 in Highbridge this week.

The Ford van crashed through a hedge and fence near the entrance to Highbridge Caravans.

Police were called to the incident at around 5.30pm on Thursday evening and a partial road closure was put in place while recovery took place.

An ambulance spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the man had been taken to Musgrove Hospital in Taunton for treatment. The injuries were not understood to be serious.
