Burnham-On-Sea gets a summer trade boost as visitors head in
businesses in Burnham-On-Sea enjoyed a busy Bank Holiday weekend,
with trade boosted by the mostly good weather.

District Council said the town's beach had been busier than previous
August Bank Holiday weekends, with hundreds enjoying the good weather.
Centre Manager Bev Milner Simonds told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It
was great to see the town centre bustling on Saturday. Talking to
traders, at least one had the best day's trade ever and there was
lots of positivity."

Lewis, who runs The Treasure Chest gift shop on The Esplanade, added:
"It has been busy at times. Undoubtedly, the sunshine brings
out the visitors."
