Burnham's MP among the visitors to Santa as grotto continues today

Father Christmas is making a special visit to Burnham-On-Sea this weekend during his annual grotto.

The VIP is at the BARB hovercraft station on Burnham's seafront on Sunday December 18th from 10am-4pm.

He will be meeting children and their families throughout the weekend and handing out presents. Among the visitors on Saturday was Burnham's MP James Heappey with his daughter Tilly, pictured above.

There will be a small entry charge of £4, to include a small gift, with all funds raised going towards BARB Search & Rescue, which operates its hovercrafts and inshore rescue boats in Somerset. BARB relies solely on donations to carry out its work.

Donations of home-made cakes are also gratefully appreciated for the cake stall and can be brought along at 9am on Saturday morning.
