Brean Leisure Park raises more than £10,000 for local good causes

-

Brean Leisure Park has raised more than £10,000 for local charities over the past year.

“The money was raised at several events we ran last year including our ever-popular pig and donkey racing and our celebrity golf day,” said Park Director Sarah House.

The money has been split between St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton, St Johns Cadets in Burnham & Highbridge, Burnham-On–Sea Sea cadets, Jeans for Genes and the Injured Jockies Fund.

“With the 2016 season now underway the team are already planning fund raising events for this year and we hope to be able to raise even more money for local and national charities,” added Sarah.
